Spring Grades due May 12

Dear Faculty;

It's that time of the semester, Spring grades are due no later than Thursday, May 12, 2011.

Please follow the directions below to enter grades for your courses. If you have any questions regarding grades, please contact me (john.schmahl@cccs.edu).

Once you have submitted your grades, we will pull a daily report listing the grades and they will be entered into Banner for the students. Grades will not be viewable by the students until the day after they are entered into banner.

You must report a Last Date of Attendance (LDA) for any student who receives a grade of “F”. If the student completed any course work or submitted any assignments during the semester, use the mid-point date for the LDA (see below for dates). If the student never submitted any assignments, never logged in or never communicated with you, use the first day of the course instead.
15 week courses
First day - 1/24/2011
Mid-point – 3/17/2011

10 week courses
First day - 2/28/2011
Mid-point - 4/4/2011

Once again, thank you for everything you do for our students. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated by all of us at CCCOnline.

Thanks!
John

CCCOnline Community Course and Grades Webinar

The Division Chairs invite you to visit the CCCOnline Community Course where you will find organizational changes including dividing up the discussions by the 5 new divisions: CTE, Liberal Arts and Communication, Social Sciences, and Science. The same all faculty discussions that you have come to enjoy like the Cultivating Excellence Blog discussion are still available for your comments and participation. We love hearing from you there!

The purpose of the redesign is to encourage and facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and develop a supportive community to address discipline challenges and needs. Due to the restructuring of content, some items may appear “new” that have previously been discussed and read.

To access the community, log into D2L, click on the student tab, and click on the CCCOnline Community. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please contact your Division Chair.

Additionally, please register for our upcoming D2L Grades webinar this Friday at 1pm https://at.ccconline.org/training
