Master Teacher Blogs

Have you ever wondered what your fellow faculty are doing at any point in time during the semester?  What do they do when a student has technical difficulties?  How about when a student is a little challenging in class?  I'm sure there are many situations facing you that your fellow faculty also see.

This semester we've asked several faculty to blog about their class experiences throughout the semester.  We've also asked one of the program chairs, who teaches as well, to tell you a little about her classroom life. To access the blogs log into the Faculty Community shell, click on Content, and then on Master Teacher Blogs (under Academic Programs).  Remember you are a student in the Community shell, so you have to click the student tab.

This semester's bloggers are (in no particular order):
  • Al Turner, 2008/2009 Teacher of the Year, Political Science
  • Dan Branan, Chemistry
  • Lorrie Immoor, Physical Geology
  • Jennifer Harr, Health Sciences
  • Vanessa Dahn, Psychology
  • Nate Wadman, Information Technology
  • Phyllis Dobson, Education Program Chair and Information Technology Instructor
We plan to make this an ongoing program with new bloggers each semester.  I hope you find someone in this group that strikes a chord for you!

best,
